AFCON 2017: Gabon Determined To Trash Burkina Faso On Wednesday

Gabon conceded an injury time equalizer in their opening group match against Guinea-Bissau on Saturday. The game ended all square at 1-1 and the hosts will certainly be the most disappointed given the trading at around 9/20 to make a winning start against the group outsiders who were making their AFCON finals debut.

On the plus side Gabon’s star player Pierre Emerick Aubameyang is already off the mark, opening the scoring in the 52nd minute after a pretty uninspiring first half.

Burkina Faso on the other hand haven fallen behind in the first half of their opening group match although scored in the 75th minute to secure a point in a 1-1 draw with Cameroon on Saturday, their game against Gabon tomorrow has a lot to determine the fate in the competition.
