Ahead Of Chelsea Clash, See What Ibrahimovic Speaks Of Mourinho

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic believes the Red Devils need more time to flourish under new coach Jose Mourinho. The 35-year-old played full 90 minutes in a goaless draw at Anfield in the Premier League as United managed to successfully contain Liverpool’s attacking threat.

After surviving the scare at the Merseyside, Mourinho’s side travel to London to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, October 23 in another litmus test to their title ambitions. The Swedish forward believes it will not be long before the Red Devils find their rhythm under their new manager.

Speaking in an interview with ESPN FC, Ibrahimovic said: “I think we’re working very hard and just need to find a click among each other. “Once we find that click, it makes it easy for ourselves. We’ll find each other much easier and the balance of defending and attacking will be much easier. “So many things are new and we are working hard. At the same time, we haven’t had a lot of luck. “Against Stoke (a 1-1 draw), we could have won the game very easily but we got one point and so on and so on.

We need to work hard and stay focused and with a little bit of luck it will come.” United have had a stuttering start into the new season after suffering defeats to Manchester City, Watford and Feyenoord in the Premier League and Europa League respectively. The Red devils will be welcoming Fenerbache to Old Trafford in a Europa League match before playing a crunch Premier League match against Antonio Conte’s side three days later.
