Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of Facebook was in Aso Rock Villa in Abuja Tuesday, to attend the Demo Day. Earlier, he held a closed door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari and his vice, Yemi Osinbajo.
No fewer than 30 startups will have the opportunity to meet with Mr Zuckerberg at the Aso Rock event, having been selected to pitch.
Vice President Osinbajo said told Zuckerberg in Aso Rock that Nigeria is going to be built on the energy and innovation of Nigeria’s youth.
He flew back to Nigeria just a day after he left Lagos for Kenya. Earlier on Tuesday, 30th August, he was in Lagos where he paid a visit to Yaba based Co-Creation Hub and Angela, a technology incubation firm . The next day he held a town hall meeting where he told the audience of developers and entrepreneurs about his life journey as an entrepreneur.
