Tonight by 20.00hrs at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea will take on Liverpool for their 5th EPL game for 2016/2017 season.
Hopes are high for the blues as head coach Antonio Conte discloses that David Luiz will play for the first time with the team and that they are confident about him.
“We expect him to play very well, with great attention. We know David is a good player and we are working to put him in the best condition to give us the best of him. Coach Conte added.
David Luiz replaces captain John Terry, who suffered an ankle ligament injury against Swansea last weekend.
On the side of the reds, defender Dejan Loveren is expected to be in full charge for this game since he missed last Saturdays 4-1 win against Leicester. He missed that game as a result of a bruised eye.
According to Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp’s remark about Chelsea is that last season was not a Chelsea season and now they are back on track, so they need to be ready for a real challenge.
He said Diego Costa is a real warrior on the pitch, “he uses his body all the time and that is a quality. He was nearly unstoppable against Swansea.”
