The Hurricane Matthew attack on Haiti has resulted in the death of close to 900 people the poor country, Daily Mail is reporting as photographs and videos of the devastation flood the internet. The report said the casualty figure is expected to grow if figures from the remote parts of the country are received.
More than 300,000 have so far been rendered homeless while thousands are said to be at local clinics with various ailments.
According to the report, the hurricane has caused the biggest humanitarian crisis in the country since the earthquake of 2010.
It was learnt that most of the dead could have been killed by falling debris from the heavy winds. The government says it has reports of destroyed houses and overflowing hospitals as well as water problem. See Video Below…
